::Watches as Nero runs out.:: "I think what he was trying to say.. is that you're very charming, and he owes you one?" ::shrugs. Points to the tarot cards:: "That's a nice deck. How did you come upon it?"

"Thank you. My grandmother gave it to me when I was a child."

::Decides Savina is not feeling very conversational. Checks his pockets one by one until he finds his cigarette case. Draws one out, offers one to the lady. Heads to the bar and grabs a pack of matches, lights his cigarette, lights hers as well (if she took one), and finally takes a seat back at the bar.::

"No thank you. I do not smoke." ::waits for Papi to finish smoking at the bar then motions him to come back to the table::

::Pulls a red mini composition notebook from his pocket, and writes in it with his red pen while he's smoking. As his cigarette comes to an end, he stamps it out against the page. Notices Savina's gesture. Picks up his glass and begins drinking while spinning on his stool to face the room. As he finishes turning, he tilts his glass fully up, and empties it. He then looks at the empty glass, shakes the ice, and then turns back towards the bar. Gives Marty a gesture indicating he needs a refill. Waits for said refill.:: "Gracias, amigo."

::Takes his newly refilled drink back to the table with Savina, and sits. Is starting to feel the effects of all the alcohol.:: "How may I be of assistance?"

"I am sorry to... "blow you off, " it just seems zat you are not very interested in ze tarot. Am I incorrect in my assessment?

::Shrugs:: "I do not use them in exactly the way that you use them, but cards, be they tarot cards or greeting cards, have power. That interests me."

"I see... so you think zat it is ze cards zemselves zat have ze power?"

::Slides back into the seat he recently left at the table:: "The cards aren't powerful on their own. It's what the cards may be... the potential, that's what is powerful."

"So what do you do zen? with cards I mean"

::Is quiet for a moment, simply looking at Savina across the table:: "There is something very familiar about you. Like you know all of my secrets already. I think it is that you remind me of my sister. Though I realize I know nothing about you. Who are you?"

(Whatever answer you feel is appropriate){First i believe that this is the wrong character, and second this makes no sense, adjustment would be much appreciated} (Yes, I realized it was the wrong login after I posted, but it was OOC so it didn't seem to matter. And while I won't adjust my answer because that really is what Papi was "looking for" I will elaborate on it's meaning. It's just as important how you choose to answer as what you choose to say. If for instance you answer by saying what you do for a living, it says something completely different about your character[and not character like character sheet, character like what you do when no one is looking] than if you choose to describe your family life, or where you grew up, or -as Savina did- avoid the question etc.)

::little smile:: "That is a very long and complicated answer" "Who is your sister?"

::smirks, and sinks back into his seat, turning to the side to rest his foot on the nearest stretcher (that little bar between the legs) of the adjacent chair.:: "I'm sure you'll meet her, she's here on the island. So, do you always avoid questions about yourself, or do you just don't like me?"

::smiles a big quick smile, and quiet breathy laugh through the nose:: "I like you just fine, but zat is a big question. I mean, what would you say if I asked you zat?"

::Dons a mock serious look, and thinks about it the question for a moment.:: "Do you read palms?" ::he says with a curious expression::

"I have, zough it is not my specialty. Why do you ask?"

"Perfect. You'll be able to tell me if I'm wrong." ::extends his open left hand out across the table, leaning forward as he does so:: "May I?"

::holds hands out and smiles:: "left or right?"

::Takes hold of her right hand with his left, gripping lightly around her wrist with his index finger and thumb, and guiding her hand closer to him. Places his right hand over her palm.:: "Your hand is so warm. Where has this been?" ::pushes the hand back towards her without letting go, leaning away a bit as he does so.:: "On second thought don't tell me."
::Laughs a bit and pulls her hand back. Slides his right hand off of her's, smoothing her fingers out, and then squeezing them together, taking note of the shape of her hand. Leans in a bit closer as he's examining her palm:: "Interesting..." ::Places his hand back atop her's, and looks back up to her:: "Now, it's been a long time since I have done this, I want you to know. I learned from a Gitano woman who worked with my parents. She was very very old, and could no longer see. She had to feel the lines with her fingertips. I assume that you learned this from your Grandmother?"

::watches Papi's hands closely, nods head once and raises eyebrows a bit (it's a 'hm, interesting' look):: "You are correct" "How did you know the woman who taught you, if you don't mind my asking?"

::Turns to Marty, letting go of Savina's hand has he does so, and pointing to her as he speaks to the barkeep::

"Martin, no more for this one, 'eh." (Charisma + Expression [w/ enchanting voice] to ensure what he's saying taken as a joke)

::Turns back to Savina with a playful smirk. ::

"As I said, she worked with mis padres... She was completely blind..."

::pauses a moment, trying to find his footing, as it were. Begins again enthusiastically::

"She taught me, and mi hermana quiromancia at the same time. But, mi hermana and I... we are the same."

::places his hand palm up on the table::

"Linea del corazón, linea de la cabeza, linea del destino"

::points to the heart, head, and life lines respectively::

"They are all the same for the two of us, except one thing."

"I assume zat you two are twins zen. and what is your difference?, besides the obvious."
